The Faculty of Dentistry is ranked number one in dental schools across Canada and within the top 20 globally. The faculty’s academic programs include a dental hygiene degree program, bachelor of dental sciences and five graduate speciality programs. The clinical facility on UBC campus services over 40,000 patient visits per year. The Faculty also supports a robust community outreach program to provide oral health care and education to at risk and marginalized communities both locally and internationally.
The Development Coordinator, Stewardship and Events is responsible for coordinating specific development related duties in support of the University's fundraising mandate. The Development Coordinator is responsible for providing program support to develop, implement and coordinate development programs and services. This position is instrumental in the delivery of programs and services designed to facilitate a lifelong relationship with UBC donors, alumni and students. Participates in on-going fundraising planning.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of related experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to interact effectively and positively with staff, managers and donors.
