AFP Greater Vancouver has made a commitment to following the 94 calls to action outlined in the report prepared by the Truth & Reconciliation Commission and we encourage all of our members to consider how they too can take action in their organizations and communities.
By taking this course you will have a better understanding of the complexities surrounding Truth and Reconciliation, how to begin having these conversations with coworkers, and where to start when building relationships with Indigenous stakeholders.
To ensure that organizations with small professional development budgets have the opportunity to participate in this program, we will be reserving 23 spots for individuals from organizations with a budget under $500,000. If you fit this criteria, please contact Darius Maze at firstname.lastname@example.org for your registration information. To purchase one of the remaining 40 training spots, please register below.
Location & Time
Online: Login information will be provided after you’ve purchased your spot. This course can be done at any time (starting as early as Monday, August 10th) and any speed to accommodate your schedule and the new normal.
If your organization has a budget under $500,000 you are eligible for one of 23 spots at no cost.
If your organization has a budget over $500,000 each spot is only $18. This is possible thanks to our partnership with the Indigenous Leadership Development Institute who have provided us with a 50% discount.
We hope to convene monthly zoom calls for participants to stay connected with one another and to discuss how they can create change in their organizations.
