National Philanthropy Day® Committee

National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is the first official day in the world, recognized by the Canadian government on the fifteenth of November each year, celebrated by fundraisers, government leaders, corporations and individuals who wish to honor all contributions philanthropy has made to the community. Celebrating philanthropy in the Lower Mainland, the National Philanthropy Day Luncheon – Vancouver coordinated by this AFP Vancouver committee, is attended by approximately 900 philanthropists, volunteers, fundraisers and support staff from over 100 non-profit organizations.
