AFP Vancouver is pleased to announce a recent Canadian Council appointment
Jackie Smith, Executive Director of the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation, has been appointed as BC representative to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canadian Council. The Canadian Council supports the mission of the AFP regional Chapters in Canada in delivering leadership excellence to the fundraising profession in Canada. The Council is comprised of elected representatives from each geographic region-Western, Prairie, Ontario, Quebec and Eastern who are members in good standing with AFP.
Your participation in the 2013 Every Member Campaign allows the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada to create sector advocates through education, build philanthropic leaders through scholarships, strengthen the sector through career mentoring, foster understanding through research and ensure materials are available to our members in both official languages.
